A dataset of the name list of Jiangsu main cultural relic attractions

Abstract

The name list of Jiangsu main cultural relic attractions is identified by using the lists of national level cultural protecting units （the first batch to the eighth batch) and provincial level cultural protection units （the first batch to the eighth batch) as the data sources and supplemented by the selection of tourist spots in Jiangsu Province （class 2A and above). Referring to Historical Relic Atlas of China Jiangsu, National Cultural Protecting Nnits, Dictionary of Chinese Cultural Relics and so on, this study collects and organizes information about cultural relics attractions, and designs a data table including basic attributes, immovable cultural relic attributes, scenic spot attributes and relative historical and cultural attributes. A data set of Jiangsu Main Cultural Relic Attractions List is constructed containing records of 199 cultural relic attractions and the field information of 15 cultural relic attractions. The specific attributes of the dataset include basic attributes such as the name of cultural relic tourist attractions, the administrative division to which they belong, judgment criteria, etc., immovable cultural relic attributes such as protection level, batch, era, type, etc., scenic spot attributes such as the name of the scenic spot to which they belong, the level of the scenic spot, the address of the scenic spot, the popularity of the scenic spot, whether the attraction is free, etc., and history and culture related attributes such as related figures, related events, related works, etc. Among them, the number of reviews of scenic spots on the Ctrip website as an indicator of scenic spots' popularity is missing for ten scenic spots, and the number of reviews of these scenic spots is marked with "/", representing their low popularity.
