Abstract

Sheet 1 is the data of the particle light scattering enhancement factor and the optical properties of aerosol which is measured by a dual-nephelometer system. The data in columns 1-6 represent time information. The data in columns 7-9 represent corrected scattering coefficients measured by the dry nephelometer at 635nm, 525nm and 450nm bands respectively. The data in columns 10-12 represent the temperature, relative humidity and pressure in the optical chamber of the dry nephelometer respectively. The data in columns 13-15 represent the corrected scattering coefficients measured by the wet nephelometer at 635nm, 525nm and 450nm bands respectively. The data in columns 16-18 represent the temperature, relative humidity and pressure in the optical chamber of the wet nephelometer respectively. The data in columns 19-20 represent the temperature and relative humidity measured by the sensor located at the inlet of the wet nephelometer. The data in columns 21-22 represent the temperature and relative humidity measured by the sensor located at the outlet of the wet nephelometer. The data in column 23 represent the corrected relative humidity in the optical chamber of the wet nephelometer. The data in columns 24-26 represent the particle light scattering enhancement factor (f(RH)) at 635nm, 525nm and 450nm bands respectively. The σsp,525nm both measured by the dry and wet nephelometer haven’t been corrected when we used them to calculate f(RH).Sheet 2 is the hourly average meteorological data and optical properties data. The data in columns 1 represent time information. The data in columns 2-3 represent wind speed and wind direction. The data in column 4 represent the corrected scattering coefficients measured by the dry nephelometer at 525nm band. The data in column 5 represent the absorbing coefficients retrieved from a seven-wavelength aethalometer (AE33). The data in column 6 represent the single scattering albedo at 525nm band. The data in column 7 represent the scattering Ångström exponent.Sheet 3 is the data of the chemical constitution of aerosol. The data in columns 1 represent time information. The data in columns 2-7 represent the mass concentration of organic matter, nitrate ions, sulfate ions, ammonium ions, chloride ions and black carbon.Sheet 4 is the result data of the calibration of humidified nephelometers with pure ammonium sulfate. The data in columns 1 represent time information. The data in columns 2-3 represent corrected scattering coefficients measured by the dry nephelometer and wet nephelometer at 525nm. The data in column 4 represent the corrected relative humidity in the optical chamber of the wet nephelometer. The data in columns 5 represent the particle light scattering enhancement factor at 525nm band.
