Abstract

The increasing volume of data in many scientific fields demands a transformative approach to data management and analysis. The data space concept, i.e., a digital ecosystem promoting sustainable and FAIR data use, has emerged to address key challenges. This paper introduces the ENES Data Space, a domain-specific implementation for climate scientists within the European Open Science Cloud. This integrated environment offers datasets, tools, and services for data science applications. We present the motivations, architecture, and a scientific application example, demonstrating the data space’s capabilities.
