Abstract

Time delay estimation is an essential problem in the study on theory of passive acoustic target detecting. However, the existence of time delay has increased the difficulty degree of consistency data fusion of multiple acoustic sensors. Aiming at this problem, a data consistency method for Multiple Acoustic sensor based on frequency spectrum similarity is presented in this paper. Firstly, the limitation of the existing data consistency method is analyzed. Secondly, the origin of time delay problem and its influence to measurement data consistency checking are illuminated. Furthermore, the Frequency spectrum confidence distance (FSCD) and relation matrix are defined in the framework of frequency spectrum analysis, and the data consistency method based on Frequency spectrum similarity (FSS) algorithm is proposed. Finally, the static experimental study on passive acoustic target detecting is designed, the theoretical results are compared with the experimental results, which verifies the feasibility and effective of the proposed method.
