Abstract
A data -acquisition system, in use for the past three years on the 46-meter radio telescope at the Algonquin Radio Observatory, is described. Full computer control of the telescope is now being implemented and this addition to the original system is also discussed. Much valuable experience in real time systems has been gained from this installation and some observations on the design of telescope data systems are presented.
