Abstract

Micro-Channel Plate (MCP) with higher quantum efficiency in Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) region is widely applied in nuclear physics and space environment detection. We will describe a real-time data acquisition (DAQ) system for a two-dimensional MCP Detector, which is readout by a wedge-and-Strip Anode (WSA). We employ the filter and shaping technique. Finally, the resolution mask before the MCP stack is irradiated with a Hg lamp, the spatial resolution of the MCP detector with an effective diameter of 30mm can reach 100 um in the horizontal and vertical direction, respectively.
