Abstract

The Ebola virus has emerged as a pandemic in the African region. This region is situated in the south of Sahara. A total of 2,387 cases with 1,590 total deaths were already reported by the World Health Organization (WHO) in the last 26 years. Soon, the virus is imported to many regions including the low tropical regions of many countries. The usual indications of the Ebola virus are headache, high fever, sore throat, fatigue, diarrhea, vomiting, and breathlessness. The disease begins to be pitying in most of the people, some cases describe being high fever as well as with multi-organ infection and condemnatory ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome). It begins that the evolution period for the infection is 21 days which is usually 10 days in a maximum of cases. West Africa has announced 28616 patients of Ebola virus infections till 2014-2016 with 11310 deaths. Ebola virus in West Africa is still at local transmission as per the WHO report. WHO reports states that there is none community transmission in West Africa yet it can be prevented by avoiding mass gathering, proper screening of the people, and also avoiding physical contact. The infection rate of the Ebola virus in all countries remains low related to the population size of the countries. It is because of fast government action to quarantine the suspected people and shut down all its borders. There was a great slowdown in the global economy due to the EBOV attack. The spread of EBOV infection can be reduced by minimizing fluid transmissions. Still, there is a need for Anti-drug development which can replace the supporting therapies for the treatment of infection.
