Abstract

The instantaneous output power of the two-stage single-phase inverter pulsates at twice the output voltage frequency. The second harmonic current compensator (SHCC) can eliminate the influence of the second harmonic current (SHC) in the front-end dc-dc converter and input dc source. Therefore, the capacitance of storage capacitor could be greatly reduced. This paper proposes to introduce a current reference compensation control scheme with repetitive control to improve the current compensation performance of SHCC. Finally, simulation tests on the system of a 3-kW SHCC are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.
