Abstract
Background and Aim: Diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in patients with cirrhosis is made with help of liver imaging reporting and data system (LI-RADS). Arterial phase hyperenhancement with washout on venous phase on triple phase imaging is suggestive of HCC and elevated alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) support the diagnosis. Liver biopsy is rarely needed in patients without cirrhosis or with atypical imaging features. We report an interesting case who had LR-5 lesion at the time of presentation which resolved on follow-up.
