Abstract

A critical test of morantel pamoate was carried out in 6 dogs artificially infected withAncylostoma caninum. The drug was 97% effective in removing worms at a dosage of 12.5 mg./kg. salt and 91% effective at 6 mg./kg. Corresponding reduction of faecal egg count was 95 and 96% respectively.
