Abstract

Train to Pakistan (1956) by Kushwant Singh and motion picture ‘Train to Pakistan’ centered on a story of religious mistreatment and the consequences of movement. For the duration of the Partition of India in 1947 in which Hindus and Sikhs were made to exchange to India and Muslims were constrained into Pakistan, independent of family past. A few families were exiled afterward several generations of living in one place or the other. This paper centered on the a few basic aspects of novel such as Life of Mano Majra people before 1947, Ghost Train, Cultural, Life style and Social Changes. This paper is also discussed similarities and diverse of novel and movie.
