Abstract

For each n ≥ 5 we give a cubic-homogeneous and a quadratic homogeneous counterexample to the DMZ-Conjecture and deduce the existence of a counterexample to Meisters' cubic linear linearization Conjecture in dimension 17. We also give a quadratic (and a cubic-)-homogeneous counter-example to the Markus-Yamabe Conjecture (in dimension 5).
