Abstract

(Abstracted from Female Pelvic Med Reconstr Surg 2019;25(1):49–55) Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) affects up to 30% of women older than 40 years and has a significant impact on a woman's quality of life. A recent study reported that a woman's lifetime risk of requiring surgery for SUI is 13.6% and increases with age.
