Abstract
Sinus X-rays often reported as haziness of the maxillary sinuses, which does not always proved to be pathological in operations. 200 such X-rays, where clinically there was no Sinus pathology, were analyzed and correlated with antral wash out findings. There were 47 individuals with slight sinuses. Positive antral wash out returns were in 25 percent, 48.6 percent and 80 percent respectively. Thus X-rays of the paranasal Sinuses is an important diagnostic modality.
