Abstract

In this paper, we study the relationship between pre-college students' evaluation systems and students' grades in the preparatory in the College of Engineering (CoE), Shaqra university in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study is based on a sample of 72 male students. Data analysis showed that there is a strong positive correlation between high school percentage and the Grade Point Average (GPA) of the students in the preparatory year. The analysis also showed that English courses are positively correlated with students' GPAs and are crucial for students' success in the college.
