Abstract
The authorship of Agrilus graminis is treated. The name graminis Gory and Laporte, 1837 results from a misidentification and is an unavailable name. Kiesenwetter (1857) validly proposed the new name A. graminis for this Gory and Laporte misidentification. A lectotype for Agrilus graminis Kiesenwetter, 1857 was based on original material of Gory and Laporte (Jendek, 1998). The name A. disparicornis Bedel is available and an objective junior synonym of A. graminis Kiesenwetter.
