Abstract
Este artigo trata da representação das cores verde e amarela no quadro imaginário de uma nação que se constrói fortemente por meio do futebol como expressão cultural. Abordando estas cores como elementos derivados dos regimes noturno e diurno da imagem, debate-se a constituição de um sujeito pós-moderno que se reconhece e se afirma, em uma identidade brasileira tribalizada e provisória, por meio do discurso imagético complementar das duas cores nacionais.
