Abstract

Paul Watsky interviews Diane Glancy, retired Professor of English at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and the author of over thirty books of poetry, fiction, drama, and essays. They discuss the influences on her writing of her father's Cherokee culture and her mother's English and German culture, of Christianity, and how the layers of her poetry reflect many of Jung's ideas. She also walks the reader through two of her poems and the themes woven throughout her work.
