Abstract
A mathematical model of an electric drive with a field-regulated reluctance machine is presented. The model of the electric drive is a multichannel control system. Each channel of the multichannel control system is equivalent to a dc electric-drive control system. Structures with independently excited machines below and above the base speed control are proposed.
