Abstract

This paper considers that every pedagogical action is based upon a social and political project. It is important to stress that physical education is in a certain way involved in this action. Due to this fact, we tried, in a first approach, to identify some of the principles of the educational plan presented in LDB. We emphasized how much the physical education teacher should understand the pedagogical and political plan he puts into action as well as the necessity of new possibilities of thought and action. This critical and pedagogical practice would contribute to the formation of creative individuals in the conquest of their citizenship. KEYWORDS: Physical education, political and pedagogical project, emancipation of the citizen.
