Abstract

A METHOD is outlined for reducing Wiener-Hopf integral equations to an infmite system of linear algebraic equations, which can be solved by a reduction method in which the approximations converge well. The method is applied to the solution of some boundary value problems of diffraction at obstacles of finite size.
