Abstract

As Jung’s death approached, a dream arrived with two seemingly unrelated images: an image of spirit and an image of Nature. Yet, appearing together as they did, the images were without a doubt intimately connected. Rising from seldom seen reaches of the psyche, the power inherent in these images likely brought Jung a breadth and depth of solace as his death drew near. These same images offer a glimpse of a profound interrelatedness of spirit and Nature that often is not readily grasped.
