Abstract

Conjunctival cysts 1-6 and delayed hemorrhages 7 are known complications of strabismus surgery. Several reports have described the clinical characteristics and methods used to treat these complications. 1-7 However, the development of delayed internal hemorrhage inside a conjunctival cyst is extremely rare. This report describes a case of delayed hemorrhage within a conjunctival cyst, in which bleeding developed 2 months after conventional strabismus surgery.
