Abstract
AbstractA straightforward strategy for the stereoselective synthesis of (+)‐bovidic acid has been developed in eleven steps with an overall yield of 8.85%. The synthesis started from commercially available nonanal, and the key reactions involved were Sharpless asymmetric dihydroxylation, Grignard reaction, and CoreyBakshiShibata reduction.
