Abstract

We apply to LS 5039 a new model where the microquasar jet is dynamically dominated by cold protons and radiatively dominated by relativistic leptons. Recent observational results on this microquasar, altogether with previous observational findings, are interpreted in the context of this model. We compute the spectral energy distribution of radiation, making some predictions about the amount of emission produced at the highest energies, where no observational data is available yet.
