Abstract
The year 1974 was the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Council of Mutual Economic Aid. The jubilee Twenty-Eighth Session of COMECON, held in June in the capital of the Bulgarian People's Republic, was dedicated to this momentous date. At this forum the Soviet Union was represented by a delegation headed by A. N. Kosygin, a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the CPSU and chairman of the USSR Council of Ministers.
