Abstract
Metastases to the pituitary gland and hypothalamus commonly occur with breast cancer in women. It is unusual and rare if these metastases are discovered late (10 or more years of primary tumor diagnosis), follow an indolent course and have radiological features suggestive of the inflammatory process.
