Abstract

• With amplifying resources dependency and social tensions, I propose:. • A compass for resource justice within ecological limits, the entry point for resolving other grand challenges (e.g., poverty, hunger, climate). • Measuring what counts by setting the baseline on the food-pollution-waste-health nexus. • Ruling what matters by articulating needs-limits and rights-duties. • Assessing the costs of implementation against the cost saving generated by planetary health improvements.
