Abstract

AbstractMixtures of poly(ethylene oxide)/atactic poly(methyl methacrylate) (PEO/At‐PMMA) blends and poly(ethylene oxide)/poly(ethylene‐co‐vinylacetate) (PEO/EVAc‐1) blends were prepared by casting from a common solvent and were found miscible. The applications of the Solubility Parameter Theory, Patterson Theory and the Equation of State Theory of Flory are reported. The miscibility predictions obtained are discussed and compared to experimental miscibility evidence.
