A comparison of efficiency and safety between dual and triple immunosuppressive regimens in pediatric living donor liver transplantation at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital

Abstract

• The dual regimen in pediatric living donor liver transplantation had comparable acute cellular rejection rates with triple regimen. • The dual regimen group had higher ebstein-barr virus reactivation rates than in triple regimen group. • Side effects of calcineurin inhibitors were comparable in both regimens. • Discontinuation of antimetabolite drug was more than two-thirds of patients in triple regimen group.
