Abstract

A free-energy model of ionic conductors that are ferroelectric in their low-temperature phase is presented, together with data on systems that meet that description, including cesium dihydrogen phosphate, thallium antimony oxy-germanate, the ‘Nascion’ sodium scandium phosphates, and silver iodide tetratungstate.
