Abstract

In this study, while the smart city market is growing to solve urban problems due to population growth and rapid urbanization, we will look at the case of the EU, a best practice based on citizen participation, to benchmark major countries where smart cities are leading. In addition, we intend to identify the latest smart city and living lab policy trends in the EU and Korea and suggest implications for future policy directions.
