Electronic information sources like E-book, E-journals, E-databases, E-theses and other electronic materials have increased exponentially. Most importantly, the academic libraries have a long history, starting with the chained, manual and closed access to libraries of earlier times to the present day hybrid, digital and virtual libraries that use the latest technology for giving information through a wide variety of services. Nowadays, these libraries are surrounded by networked data connected to internet-based services to make helpful information resources accessible to the academic community. The present study is comparing the remote access of library services of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University Tirunelveli and Kerala University Thiruvananthapuram.
