Abstract
The present study is a sincere attempt made by the researcher to study the attitude of students towards English language learning at higher secondary level of Hyderabad. Since from the review of related literature it was found that no studies had been conducted so far to compare the attitude towards English language learning between male and female students at higher secondary level of Hyderabad. No studies were found to compare the attitude towards English language learning between rural and urban students at higher secondary level of Hyderabad; the researcher had chosen the present problem to fill the gap in this regard. The study was conducted on 200 sample students of Hyderabad. It was found that firstly, there is no difference between male and female students regarding their attitude towards English language learning at the higher secondary level of Hyderabad. Secondly, there is a significant difference between urban and rural students regarding their attitude towards English language learning at the higher secondary level of Hyderabad.
