Abstract

The crystallization of CoSiB metallic glasses was studied by X-ray, neutron diffraction, resistivity and calorimetry. With high cobalt and boron contents two steps and a decrease of resistivity is found upon crystallization. With low cobalt and high silicon content a single step and a tendency for the resistivity to increase are found. There is an anomalously large increase in resistivity for Co 70Si 9B 21.
