Abstract

A zero cross-over method 1−5) was employed to compare the pulse shape discrimination properties in four scintillators: NE 213, Stilbene, C 6H 6 and C 6D 6. In addition, the behaviour of NE 213 has been studied: 1. 1) as a function of neutron energy, 2. 2) as a function of counting rate, and 3. 3) in combination with a light pipe.
