Abstract

Selecting the appropriate project management methodology is one of the challenges faced by project managers. Predicting the adoption of agile or traditional methodology during the early stage of the project could contribute to its success. The purpose of this paper is to predict project management methodology based on machine learning algorithms. Our study aims to help project managers make the right decisions and select the most suitable project management approach. The performance of Machine Learning (ML) models was evaluated using metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. Gradient Boosting outperformed other ML models, achieving an accuracy of 94%.
