Abstract

This paper proposes a study of the temperature change of the SKD11steel for hot tensile testing (HTT). Using the heater and induction heating to heat for testing the strength of steel by hot tensile test under high temperature at 500– 700˚C. For many applications, including those in power plants, the aerospace industry, and the automobile industry, high-temperature qualities of materials are of utmost importance. These two methods have differences between the time and the control temperature of SKD11steel which induction heating used less time and control temperature better than using the heating. Induction heating can control temperature by controlling the PWM signal generated by the dsPIC33F(Microcontroller) and adjusting frequency at 20–––50 kHz for the control temperature at a surface area of steel size 3 mm. × 50 mm.
