Abstract

At present scenario, power generation plays a crucial roel in driving the global economy. The ability to generate the power without polluting the environment plays a major role in protecting the environment. The solution is to adopt green energy environment for incorporating better performance to control the pollution and fuel crisis. Nowadays, the load demand is rising instantaneously in commercial and industrial sector. To meet the load demand or to clip off the peak demand, a system needs to feed the grid with additional power. In order to deal with natural resources like sun, wind, biomass, or geothermal and balance the electricity loads, each sector is more likely to concentrate on building either stand-alone or grid-tied power. The grid-tied system supplies more electricity to the grid than a standalone system. Produced electricity has one challenge: It must be synchronized with the grid. The final difficulty would be to obtain the most resources from the integrated device. Recently, different approaches are being studied to use the green system's resources. There are some clean energy technologies available: Solar PV, power cell, hydro, fuel cell, and wind. Henceforth, it is necessary to choose which Hybrid Power Generation (HPG) is better to implement. This paper surveys on the combination of solar PV and wind used for the power generation and suitable soft computing methodology is proposed for the improvement of Hybrid Power Generation (HPG) system.
