Abstract
A total of 130 patients with acute pancreatitis in JSS hospital from the time of November 2018 to April 2020 have been considered in the present study. A cross sectional prospective study in which the patient was observed from the day of admission and followed up till discharge. Out of 130 patients in this study, 102 were male. Majority of the study population had alcohol consumption (52.3%) as etiology. Severe acute pancreatitis was found in 15 patients.
