Abstract
A compact Ultra-Wideband (UWB) MultipleInput Multiple-Output (MIMO) antenna prototype is proposed in this paper. The proposed prototype is designed using Rogers 4533, which has dielectric constant of 3.3. Radiating patch of both antennas is loaded with an inverted U-shaped slot to notch upper WLAN band. Isolation for whole UWB band is achieved using modified ground plane, while keeping both radiating elements close to each other. Parametric analysis is also presented in this paper along with other results. Results for S-parameter and radiation pattern prove that this antenna is good candidate for UWB MIMO systems.
