Abstract
AbstractThis article describes an effective mechanism for miniaturizing a microstrip triangular patch resonator. Measurement results show that the technique can yield ∼56% size reduction. The article also provides design equations which can be used to determine the size of discontinuity required in order to achieve a specific resonant frequency. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
