Abstract
Abstract A high resolution Thomson parabola spectrometer (TPS) based on cylindrical Halbach dipole magnets is proposed. With our design, the magnetic field can reach 1 T and a compact TPS shorter than 30 cm was fabricated. It can distinguish protons up to 100 MeV from other ions and the energy resolution for 100 MeV proton reaches Δ E/E
