Abstract
In this paper, a compact and anti-interference filter-antenna is designed for modern wireless communication systems. This filter-antenna consists of a microstrip rectangular open-loop resonator, a coupling line and a Γ-shaped antenna. The Γ-shaped antenna is excited by coupled line. Meanwhile, the coupled line is used as an admittance converter in filter design. The Γ-shaped antenna not only plays the role of radiation, but also the filter last resonator. The advantage of this design is that there is no loss between the filter and the antenna. The measured results show that the filter-antenna impedance bandwidth of the reflection coefficient S11<− 10dB is 12.7% (2.36–2.68GHz).
