Abstract

The Independence of Southern Sudan from the main Sudan has sparked off conflict as per the territorial jurisdiction of both states. The justifiability of the UN Intervention in this conflict has been a source of recurring controversy. This essay briefly x-rays the Sudanese conflict and the extent to which the UN intervention in the conflict justified.
