Abstract

In two recent articles published in Combustion and Flame (Zhou et al., 2018) and Combustion Science and Technology (Zhou et al., 2019), Zhou et al. misinterpreted the flame front velocity and flame displacement speed definitions. The mistake in these papers are discussed in this short communication.
