Abstract

単シリンダ四サイクル中速ディーゼル機関により, スワール強さ, 燃料噴射期間, 燃料弁噴孔数, 燃料弁開弁圧の4個を実験因子とする燃焼実験を行った. その結果, 熱発生パターンを見ただけでは, 噴霧の燃焼に対する各因子の効果を評価できないことがわかった. そこで, 著者は新しく噴霧の有効燃焼速度係数を提案し, これによって各因子の燃焼に対する関与の仕方を, 従来よりいっそう明確にできると考えた.
