Abstract
A converging collimator with NiC/Ti supermirrors has been mounted on the high-resolution neutron spectrometer LAM-80ET (Δ ɛ ∼ 1.2 μeV) installed at the pulsed cold-neutron source in the National Laboratory for High Energy Physics (KEK), Tsukuba, Japan. The design and the performance of the collimator are described.
