Abstract

Having the right capital equipment available by both type and capacity is essential to establishing and maintaining a successful and sustainable radiology practice. Acquiring capital equipment for imaging has become increasingly challenging as the scope and magnitude of imaging services have grown over the past two decades and therewith the magnitude of funding required. Here we describe a comprehensive approach to the problem that depends on, and at the same time promotes, simultaneous investments in both human and social capital.
