Abstract

This editorial introduces IJSFP to the community of solution-focused practitioners. It includes thanks to them who helped launch this project. It also describes the Open Access principles of the journal, readers have free access to the full content of all the articles. Further, we described our dedication to publish a multitude of ideas and developments within the solution-focused framework. We are dedicated to putting forward the ideas of solution-focused practitioners and researchers as they themselves choose to conceptualise them based in their particular context. This philosophy thereby supports the solution-focused model as a widely used, evidence-based, and safely anchored approach within a growing number of clinical practices, and also follows the spread of the approach into the broader fields of related services. Our hope is that IJSFP will support practitioners and researchers to openly describe their work and ideas, and provide a platform for creative discussions. You are also invited to contact us with ideas or projects you would like to share. When you submit your text to us, you will get support in making your ideas and your text shine clearly.
